It's a polka dot affair!

Today I would like to share with you my new affair - it's a polka dot affair!

I am soooo in love with this lovely vintage polker dot blouse that i can't remember how I lived without. How do you like it? I got it second hand for just a few Euro...

I like the casual combination with a used look jeans from Stradivarius and one of my favourite leather bags. I bought it during a job in Tunisia on a typical market. It was worth the bargain! Got two of them because I couldn't decide between them.

The shoes are from Office London @ Oxford Street. The black poncho is the same from the breaking the rules post. I still love this one! Still the black poncho jacket is one of my favorite items in my wardrobe right now - but honestly - it isn't photogenic at all. But truly a natural beauty. Believe me :-) Ii is from BB Dakota, I found it at Wasteland in San Francisco at Haight-Ashbury. So it is a great souvenir at the same time.

But maybe I gonna need a new belt!

Pünktchen

Meine Lieben, heute mal mit Pünktchen unterwegs. Sonst so gar nicht mein Style aber diese Bluse hat es mir angetan und ich trage sie in letzter Zeit wirklich oft. Habe sie vintage für ein paar Euro ergattert, was die Sache natürlich noch schöner macht :)

Kombiniert habe ich sie mit einer dunklen Jeans im Used Look von Stradivarius und schönen Leder Boots von Office London, zum Beispiel zu finden in der Oxford Street.

Den schicken (aber leider nicht so fotogenen Poncho) kennt ihr ja schon aus meinem breaking the rules Post.

Die wunderhübsche Tasche habe ich in Tunesien auf einem Markt "erhandelt", habe so eine ähnliche sogar nochmal...konnte mich einfach nicht entscheiden. Das schöne ist, sie sind beide sehr zeitlose, haben eine super Größe und sind daher vielseitig einsetzbar.

The Country Vibe*

I did shoot this lovely outfit a few weeks ago...but honestly I had so much things on my daily to do list that I could not manage to post them online....shame on me :) But now I am back with a free mind and here we go.

I thought this would be a nice outfit to discover the country side of Berlin but it was quite windy that day so I guess you can tell from the pictures that it was freeeeeezing. Anyway, I am still in love with this outfit, perfect for the warm spring weather we finally have now and today I was wearing it again for my little trip to the lovely flea market called "flowmarkt" next door in Neukölln. You should check it out if you are in Berlin :)

So what I was wearing:

The Square Blouse is from a little shop in New York, I can't remember the name. I bought it 2 years ago and I am still in love. Maybe because the texture feels sooo cozy.

I found this DIY cropped High Waist Shorts at "Kleiderkreisel", you can buy, sell and swap clothes there. So I made a good deal with this one.

The belt is from H&M. And this lovely handbag is vintage - as well from "Kleiderkreisel".

The shoes I bought last year in Stockholm. As well, I really can't remember the shops name...sorry for that :)

...it's tea time!

Hello darling...it's tea time!

Today I would like to present you one of the most pretty vintage dress I ever wore!

I found this 80s Spencer Alexis Vintage dress at some vintage online shop at ETSY. It was this kind of love in the first sight thing but i was not sure at all - the typical "could be stunning - could be ridiculous" issue...but after two hours waiting at the customs I was so happy to hold this dress in my hands. Juts from the pictures you can may hardly image the special spirit this dress has!

Let me explain the details:

The detailing is just exquisite from the elegant lace running up and onto the shoulder to the pearl button details. The top is a criss cross with a V neckline. It has dolman sleeves and a sheer chiffon draping overlay. Not to forget: the lovely 80s shoulder pads. The tan woven bottom fabric is very unique and I have not seen a combination of fabric like this every day. The dress comes with a beautiful embellished lace and pearl trim belt to add that perfect finishing touch to complete this look.

I thought my birthday last weekend would be the perfect occasion to wear it - like a lady - so what do you think? Let me know...

Darf ich vorstellen?

Diesen Post möchte ich einem der schönsten Vintage Kleider widmen, das ich je anhatte!

Diese 80er Jahre Kleid von Alexis Spencer hatte ich vor einigen Wochen in einem Vintage Online Shop bei ETSY gefunden und irgendwie konnte ich nicht anders und musste es bestellen. Auch wenn es Liebe auf den ersten Blick war, war ich mir so gar nicht sicher. Ich wusste einfach: entweder es ist ein absoluter Traum oder es wird absolut lächerlich aussehen. Zum Glück bin ich das Risiko eingegangen und nach dem ich zwei Stunden beim Zollamt auf mein lang ersehntes Päckchen warten musste, war ich beim Anblick des Kleides einfach nur noch begeistert. Ich befürchte fast, dass die Bilder diesen speziellen Zauber nur schwer einfangen können...

Mein Geburtstag letztes Wochenende war einfach die ideale Gelegenheit um dieses Kunstwerk auszuführen. Was denkt ihr? Ich freue mich über Kommentare!

What I was wearing today...

Today I felt like breaking the rules. Wearing dark blue with black and silver with gold? YES it is possible. That's what I think. What do you think about my outfit I was wearing today?

So about the outfit:

The knitted dress is from Gina Tricot. I went there a lot of times but never found something nice for me. But this dress is just great as it works with cold weather.

The black poncho jacket is one of my favorite items in my wardrobe right now - but honestly - it isn't photogenic at all. But truly a natural beauty. Believe me :-) Ii is from BB Dakota, I found it at Wasteland in San Francisco at Haight-Ashbury. So it is a great souvenir at the same time.

The lovely hat is from the same store (Wasteland) - but it is vintage so I can't say anything about the brand.

So whats more...yes the great rope belt! I found it at etsy. This one was called vintage boho cord belt. So I don't know the exactly name of it. Remember my last post about all these lovely belts? Click here.

The silver clutch is vintage as well...I found it at a little shop in Berlin.

Immer wieder Sonntags...

Heute habe ich beschlossen, ein paar der "Regeln" zu brechen und dunkelblau mit schwarz, sowie silber mit gold in meinem Outfit zu kombinieren. Und ich muss feststellen: JA es ist möglich. Was denkt ihr darüber?

So nun zum Outfit:

Das Strickkleid habe ich bei Gina Tricot gefunden. Ich war ja wirklich schon oft in dem Laden und habe nie etwas gefunden. Aber dieses Kleid ist wirklich ein Glücksgriff gewesen, da es auch wirklich warm hält und so einfach das perfekte Winterkleid ist.

Der schwarze Poncho Mantel von BB Dakota ist ein Souvenir aus San Francisco, ich habe ihn dort Anfang des Jahres bei Wasteland in Haight-Ashburry entdeckt und es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Er ist ehrlich gesagt überhaupt nicht fotogen aber live einfach eine natürliche Schönheit!

Den Hut habe ich auch bei Wasteland gefunden. Er ist vintage und es ist kein Label mehr im Hut vorhanden. Ich liebe ihn einfach!

Der wunderbare Boho Vintage Gürtel ist einer der Dreien (Post), die ich bei etsy gefunden habe. Ich denke, dieser gefällt mir irgendwie am besten. Zumindest heute :-)

Die silberne Clutch ist ebenfalls vintage - diese habe ich in einem kleinen Laden in Berlin vor einigen Jahren gefunden und sie ist mir stets ein treuer Begleiter.

Back in the 80s // the twisted retro belt*

Back in the 80s

Heute kam endlich mein lang ersehntes Päckchen aus den USA an (zumindest eines von denen)!

Ich hatte vor einigen Wochen diesen wunderbaren Vintage 80er Jahre Retro Gürtel auf etsy.com entdeckt und mich sofort verliebt!!!

Ich konnte mich nicht entscheiden, welche Farbkombi mir am besten gefällt und so habe ich letztlich 3 dieser Sorte bestellt. Hier ist schonmal das erste Exemplar: eine Mischung aus mintgrün und petrolblau trifft auf rosa und pink, kombiniert mit einer eingedrehten Kette an Kunstperlen.

Ich freu mich schon auf das richtige Wetter, um den Gürtel das erste Mal auszuführen - definitiv ein Retro-Frühling-Sommer-Look und zu schade für das Matsch Wetter da draußen.

Here we go...

Today I finally got this wonderful vintage belt by international mail - a 1980s twisted retro belt with some pearls. It features shades of teal blue, cream and pink accented by twisted faux pearls. It comes with a silver clasp and lots of stretch.

I found this kind of belts on etsy.com and I instantly fell in love!!!

As I could not decide about the color and style, I bought three of them...so there are still 2 more to come. How exciting :-)

I can't wait for the right weather (we have still snow in Berlin) to wear the lovely belt with a nice, colorful spring / summer dress!
