The Country Vibe*

I did shoot this lovely outfit a few weeks ago...but honestly I had so much things on my daily to do list that I could not manage to post them online....shame on me :) But now I am back with a free mind and here we go.

I thought this would be a nice outfit to discover the country side of Berlin but it was quite windy that day so I guess you can tell from the pictures that it was freeeeeezing. Anyway, I am still in love with this outfit, perfect for the warm spring weather we finally have now and today I was wearing it again for my little trip to the lovely flea market called "flowmarkt" next door in Neukölln. You should check it out if you are in Berlin :)  

So what I was wearing:

The Square Blouse is from a little shop in New York, I can't remember the name. I bought it 2 years ago and I am still in love. Maybe because the texture feels sooo cozy.

I found this DIY cropped High Waist Shorts at "Kleiderkreisel", you can buy, sell and swap clothes there. So I made a good deal with this one. 

The belt is from H&M. And this lovely handbag is vintage - as well from "Kleiderkreisel".  

The shoes I bought last year in Stockholm. As well, I really can't remember the shops name...sorry for that :)

Goodbye Winter*

FINALLY! 

It seems to get warmer even in Berlin. Couldn't imagine this yet after over 5 month of snow snow snooooow. Can't see this white stuff any more!

To say goodbye to the winter I decided to post one last winter snow outfit, cause I guess it was one of my favourites this year. I loved this Oversize Cardigan I bought in Stockholm at Monki. And I never had cold feets with those Snow Joggers from Rubber Duck. 

Don't worry, this pictures are from a few weeks ago but i did not post them till now.

So to make it official: GOODBYE WINTER!

ENDLICH!

Es scheint wärmer zu werden, ich höre die Vögelchen zwitschern und heute habe ich doch tatsächlich die ersten Krokusse blühen sehen! Und das in Berlin, der Stadt des ewigen Schneematsches. Das muss doch was heißen. Nach über 5 Monaten Schnee, Schneematsch und Schnee! 

Das hier wird also mein letztes Winteroutfit. Es war vermutlich mein Lieblingsoutfit dieses Jahr, den Oversize Cardigan hatte ich letztes Jahr in Stockholm gekauft bei Monki, er ist einfach perfekt für den Alltag, bequem, kuschelig und ich hatte mit diesen Snow Jogger Boots von Rubber Duck niemals kalte Füße!

Mit diesem Post möchte ich mich nun ganz offiziell von dem lieben Winter verabschieden: TSCHÜÜÜÜÜSS Winter!

Bohemian flair

Today I would like to show you my lovely Trekker Poncho from Free People. The poncho is heavy knitted and really warm and cozy, so perfect for the first - still cold - spring days. I like the bohemian flair and the tassel trimming around the bottom. The colors are kind of rich and vibrant and it matches kind of everything. This item is a fashion statement - so I decided to wear it with some simple basics: a dark jeans with dark grey and black snake print and some winter leather boots in camel.

Bohemian flair

Heute möchte ich meinen wunderbaren "Trekker Poncho" von Free People vorstellen. Der Poncho ist einfach perfekt für das jetzige Wetter. Der schwere Strick lässt ihn gut auf den Schultern liegen, er ist wirklich warm und unheimlich kuschelig. Einfach perfekt für die ersten - leider noch kalten - Tage mit Sonnenschein....hoffentlich die Vorboten des Frühlings. Ich liebe den Bohemian Flair des Ponchos. Die Farben sind kräftig und lassen sich mit vielen Teilen kombinieren. Die Fransen lassen den Look verspielt wirken und wehen wunderbar im Wind. Damit der Poncho voll zur Geltung kommt, habe ich ihn hier mit eher schlichten Basics kombiniert: einer dunklen Jeans mit dunkelgrau-schwarzem Schlangenprint und warmen Winterstiefeln in Camel.

...it's tea time!

Hello darling...it's tea time! 

Today I would like to present you one of the most pretty vintage dress I ever wore! 

I found this 80s Spencer Alexis Vintage dress at some vintage online shop at ETSY. It was this kind of love in the first sight thing but i was not sure at all - the typical "could be stunning - could be ridiculous" issue...but after two hours waiting at the customs I was so happy to hold this dress in my hands. Juts from the pictures you can may hardly image the special spirit this dress has! 

Let me explain the details:

The detailing is just exquisite from the elegant lace running up and onto the shoulder to the pearl button details. The top is a criss cross with a V neckline. It has dolman sleeves and a sheer chiffon draping overlay. Not to forget: the lovely 80s shoulder pads. The tan woven bottom fabric is very unique and I have not seen a combination of fabric like this every day. The dress comes with a beautiful embellished lace and pearl trim belt to add that perfect finishing touch to complete this look.

I thought my birthday last weekend would be the perfect occasion to wear it - like a lady - so what do you think? Let me know...

Darf ich vorstellen?

Diesen Post möchte ich einem der schönsten Vintage Kleider widmen, das ich je anhatte!  

Diese 80er Jahre Kleid von Alexis Spencer hatte ich vor einigen Wochen in einem Vintage Online Shop bei ETSY gefunden und irgendwie konnte ich nicht anders und musste es bestellen. Auch wenn es Liebe auf den ersten Blick war, war ich mir so gar nicht sicher. Ich wusste einfach: entweder es ist ein absoluter Traum oder es wird absolut lächerlich aussehen. Zum Glück bin ich das Risiko eingegangen und nach dem ich zwei Stunden beim Zollamt auf mein lang ersehntes Päckchen warten musste, war ich beim Anblick des Kleides einfach nur noch begeistert. Ich befürchte fast, dass die Bilder diesen speziellen Zauber nur schwer einfangen können...

Mein Geburtstag letztes Wochenende war einfach die ideale Gelegenheit um dieses Kunstwerk auszuführen. Was denkt ihr? Ich freue mich über Kommentare!

What I am wearing today ...

Today the sun is shining in my lovely apartment and I thought it is the perfect moment to bring some color in my wardrobe. So I took my Photo Booth to catch that moment for you :-)

I took the chance to wear my new Aztec Body Dress from River Island. Maybe you will remember it from my last New In Post. Just hanging on the hanger it did not look special at all but wearing it today makes me think that I am gonna love this dress! I combined it with my blue Jeans Jacket from Diesel. I got it a few years ago and this jacket is definitely still one of my favorite pieces.

About the accessories I am wearing: 

• My glasses are from RayBan and I really should wear them more often.

• The simple jute bag is a souvenir from my last L.A. trip. I bought this one at Venice Beach.

• The chain is a small present I got from some lovely friends. They bought it in Bali. 

So I am ready now to leave for a unplugged concert from a friend of mine, the singer/songwriter Finn Martin (check it out!) and I hope you gonna like my outfit of the day. Please feel free to leave a comment!

Was ich heute tragen werde...

Heute scheint die Sonne so wunderbar in mein Apartment und irgendwie habe ich dabei doch glatt vergessen, das draussen immer noch der Schnee auf mich wartet. Auf jeden Fall waren die Sonnenstrahlen die perfekte Motivation, um wieder etwas mehr Farbe in mein Outfit zu bringen. 

Hier für Euch mit ein paar Schnappschüssen festgehalten :-)   

Ich habe den Anflug von Sommerlaune sofort genutzt um mein neues Kleid im Azteken Muster von  River Island auszuführen. Vielleicht erinnert ihr Euch an meinen letzten New In Post? So hängend auf dem Bügel sah es ehrlich gesagt alles andere als spektakulär aus, aber heute im im Einsatz finde ich es wirklich großartig und ich glaube, ich werde es lieben! Ich habe es mit einem meiner Lieblingsteile kombiniert: meine dunkelblaue Jeans Jacke von Diesel, die schon seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr aus meinem Kleiderschrank weg zudenken ist. 

Die Accessoires: 

• Meine Brille von RayBan sollte ich wirklich öfters tragen

• Der Stoffbeutel ist ein Souvenir aus Venice Beach aus meinem letzten L.A. Urlaub. 

• Die Kette ist ein Mitbringsel von Freunden, die ihren Urlaub auf Bali verbracht hatten.

So ich werde mich jetzt gleich auf den Weg zu einem Unplugged Konzert von einem Freund machen. Sein Name ist Finn Martin und es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall reinzuhören!

Passing winter*

or What I was wearing today...

Also wenn ihr mich fragt...langsam reicht es mit dem Winter. So schön der Schnee auch ist, mir ist einfach nur noch kalt und ich habe keine Lust mehr, mich ewig unter meiner dicken Winterjacke zu verstecken. Ich sehne mich nach Frühlingsfarben und Sommerkleidchen...die sind doch auch viel spannender! 

Hier mein heutiger Versuch meiner schwarzen, dicken, kuscheligen, sooo warmen Winterjacke zu entkommen. Und was tut ihr gegen diesen Winter-Outfit-Blues?  

If someone would ask me...I can't stand the winter weather in Berlin any more. Snow, snow, snow for days. I don't want to hide any more under my big black winter coat! I am longing for spring colours, some nice warm sun, picnic in the parcs and beautiful day dresses. 

This is what I was wearing today...at least one try to escape from my big black (but soooooo warm) winter coat. What do you think? What are you doing to escape from the winter-outfit-depression?
